New Poll

Published by under baby,pregnancy

Since we’re now officially FULL TERM (38 weeks today!) and so many people seem to have a guess as to when we will actually have the baby, we’ve posted a very informal poll. Log your guess if you like, and please feel free to elaborate on your answer in a response to this post if you want to get really specific! ;)

Edit 4/15/08: I have removed the 4/13 – 4/15 range! There were five votes there – if yours was one of them, you can sure try voting again if you like. (This is a VERY informal poll!)

When do you think our Baby will be born?

  • April 16 - 18 (41%, 11 Votes)
  • April 19 - 21 (4%, 1 Votes)
  • April 22 - 24 (22%, 6 Votes)
  • April 25 - 27 (11%, 3 Votes)
  • April 28 - 30 (4%, 1 Votes)
  • Sometime in May! (18%, 0 Votes)

Total Voters: 27

Edit 4/24/08: The poll is closed, and it looks like most people guessed correctly. Jeremy Richard was born on 4/17/08. Cool!

Nothing yet…

Published by under pregnancy

Just a quick update – we made it through the weekend (so far) with no labor. Things were starting to get a little weird there, but then slowed down and nothing happened after all. So I guess that means nothing to report! I’ll have another checkup on late Monday afternoon. If there’s anything interesting or exciting to report at that time, one of us will put it here of course. Otherwise, just assume we’re going to be in a holding pattern for a while longer!

Date guessing

Published by under baby,pregnancy

So now that Amber is ready to go just about, I am going to predict it will come between the 8th and 11th.

(This is Amber updating Jon’s post – I think full labor will start this Saturday morning, just in time for Jon to have to cancel his little get-together that night! hahaha!)

Latest OB exam this afternoon

Published by under baby,pregnancy

Everything looks good – in fact, my prediction of being “ready to go by week 38″ is likely to be accurate! Baby is at 0 station, and I’m 1 cm dilated. Like I’ve been telling people, “Any day now!”
