Today’s Project – new basement flooring

Oh, and just for the sake of history, here’s what the carpet looked like before we pulled it up to reveal the ugly tile (this picture is a couple years old):
I’ve got to admit – that was one butt-ugly family room when you first moved in. That floor makes ALL the difference
We do like it! Now we’re going to paint the upper half of the wall, and put some nice fabric on the lower half (over the wallpaper). And we’re keeping our eyes open for a nice rug, too… Let us know if you find any good bargains!
