Update on Jon
Surgery is done, went pretty well. Three screws were put in his hip. I should be able to see him in his room soon. They say he can still go home tomorrow. He’s going to be on crutches for 6 to 12 weeks. I guess I get to keep taking out the garbage and cleaning the litterbox (usually Jon’s chores) for a bit longer!
Hi, Jon and Amber. Dale just read your email and I sent this update as well. Glad the surgery is over. Amber, remember to exhale after you inhale, OK? OK!!
What a fluke thing to have happen. I hope you got my email that I sent earlier after learning about the surgery. We are thinking of you and pls. keep us posted as to when Jon can come home. Stairs and crutches can be tricky (I know from experience), but Jon will catch on quickly. Take care and give Jon our best. Stay in touch. Marci & Dale
