Here's some of the stuff I've knitted up and actually remembered to get some pictures of. If a pattern was used, I've tried to include a link to the pattern (click the project name), or a link to a source where the pattern can be purchased.

1/20/08 "Bubby" Bubby I made the little sweater for him based on EZ's seamless yoke sweater in Knitting Without Tears.

Yarn: Patons Classic Merino Wool ("Chestnut Brown" and "Blue Storm")

1/5/08 Felt Clogs for Me My slippers - after felting Fiber Trends Felt Clog pattern - this is not a free pattern, but definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Yarn: Patons Classic Merino Wool ("Natural Mix" and "Chestnut Brown")

12/9/07 Felt Clogs for Mom Drying Fiber Trends Felt Clogs (AC-33) - this is not a free pattern, but definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Yarn: Patons Classic Merino Wool ("That's Pink" and "Chestnut Brown")

8/31/07 Baudelaire Socks IMG_3049 I really liked this pattern, especially the toe-up flap-and-gusset heel with NO picking up stitches! I think I should have knit them a little larger though...

Yarn: Knitpicks Essential ("Grass")

8/26/07 Baby Space Booties Baby Space Bootie Knit on the road to Burning Man, about a week after we found out we were expecting Baby B.

Yarn: DK Kona Superwash Merino, handpainted with yellow and green PAAS Easter Egg Dyes

6/12/07 Lacy Butterfly Dishcloth Lacy Butterfly Dishcloth A dishcloth just for me.

Yarn: Lily Sugar & Cream ("Cream")

6/9/07 Garter Ridged Baby Cardigan Ridged baby cardigan, pre-buttons This was the first time I ever tried dyeing my own yarn, and this sweater was what I made with it.

Yarn: DK Kona Superwash Merino, handpainted with yellow and green PAAS Easter Egg Dyes

4/22/07 Baby Surprise Jacket BSJ - All done! Elizabeth Zimmerman's ingenious pattern is available from a few different sources - the KnitWiki entry about it lists several of them in the entry about it here (at the bottom of the page).

Yarn: Sirdar Country Style DK (#595)
Yarn: Hayfield Grampian DK ("Sultana") (some Hayfield yarns are now being sold as Sirdar, and this stuff is identical to the Country Style in fiber content and gauge)

4/3/07 Thistle Leaf Scarf Over-Bright I was inspired by a stitch pattern from Barbara Walker's Second Treasury. I made a chart for it using Microsoft Visio, with templates downloaded from here, and added garter stitch selvage to make this scarf.

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted ("Applewood")

3/3/07 Mittens Malabrigo Mittens Just basic afterthought-thumb mittens, no pattern or anything. This colorway is called "Azul Profundo" but my friend says it reminds her of blueberries! I have to agree.

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted ("Azul Profundo")

2/11/07 "Multidirectional
Diagonal Scarf
"
Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf I enjoyed making it but found the end product was too itchy for my neck (Paton's SWS is not as soft as I had expected), so I gave it to a friend who liked it and didn't find it itchy at all!

Yarn: Patons SWS ("Natural Earth")

2/4/07 "Kitty Pi" Finished Kitty Pi The cats love it, and even the dog tries to sleep in it! (Although he's too big and really just smashes it.)

Yarn: Noro Big Kureyon (discontinued)

1/21/07 Scarf Regan's Scarf A gift for a friend.

Yarn: Orchid with Cashmere ("Silver Oak")

1/1/07 Felt clutch Open I keep all my little knitting accessories in here now - tape measure, tapestry needles, stitch counters, etc.

Yarn: Noro Kureyon (#40)

12/06 Various
Dishcloths
Dishcloth for Jon's Mom Various simple patterns found online, I think all of them can be found via Knitting Pattern Central, specifically this page.
These were Christmas gifts for my folks, my in-laws, and a good friend.

Yarn: Lily Sugar & Cream ("Cream" & "Grape")

12/2/06 Cabled Hat On the coffee table I started with mini cables at the bottom and changed my mind halfway up, switching to 4-stitch cables. Rather odd-looking, but it still works!

Yarn: Misti Alpaca Worsted (Natural White)

11/12/06 Earflap Hat Earflap Hat Special request from Jon. He wanted a "super thick" hat with earflaps so I made this pattern up on the spot.

Yarn: Lion Brand Thick & Quick ("Denim Twist")

10/21/06 "Fetching"
fingerless gloves
#1 finished Lovely! I wear them all the time in my office during the winter.

Yarn: Knitpicks Wool of the Andes ("Winter Night")

10/12/06 Another hat Black Snowflake Hat - Fixed Another "what was I thinking?" moment. I don't like this hat at all, I never wear it, and I would not dare give it away. I find it that ugly.

Yarn: Knitpicks Wool of the Andes (Black)
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease ("Chestnut Heather")

10/7/06 "Reversible
Cable Scarf" (pdf)
The scarf at about 60% complete Thank-you gift for a friend who gave us several old highway-sized billboard vinyls.

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease ("Chestnut Heather")

9/7/06 "Ocean Socks" Ocean Socks I like these a lot and wear them often.

Yarn: Knitpicks' Dancing ("Jig" - discontinued colorway)

5/27/06 "Soleil" Soleil I really loved this pattern, but I think next time I will make it a little longer.

Yarn: Knitpicks Shine Sport ("Sky")

5/7/06 "Ripple Shawl"
(pdf)

IMG_1025 I call it a "Feather and Fan Stole", which I think is a more accurate description. Gift to a friend. The yarn was pretty splitty and kind of annoying to work with, but at least the final product is nice and soft.

Yarn: Lion Brand Microspun ("Lilac")

4/6/06 Stuffed Kitty IMG_1446 Due to an "inside joke" that's too long to explain, the recipient of this and I were referring to it as the HAYDO ME NOT DEAD KITTY

Yarn: Knitpicks Wool of the Andes ("Wheat")

3/10/06 "Coronet" IMG_1449 Another ran-out-of-yarn ordeal. I finished the top in black and it looks dumb. I wore it a couple times after finishing but I don't think I would anymore.

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease ("Dark Rose Heather" and Black on the top)

2/26/06 Jon's Hat v3.0 Jon's new hat He really likes it, and I'm so happy every time I see him in it!

Yarn: Knitpicks Wool of the Andes ("Black" and "Winter Night")

2/11/06 Fraternal Socks Fraternal Socks These were based on Wendy's Generic Toe-Up Sock Pattern - I just switched yarn colors after knitting the toes, and when I did the short-row heels. I rarely wear these. I don't think Wool Ease is a very good choice for socks, but I was still learning about fiber properties at this time. Acrylic = BAD for socks... It's also too chunky to be comfortable in shoes.

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease ("Dark Rose Heather" and Black)

1/29/06 Jon's Hat
(v1.0 and v2.x)
Jon's Hat, Version 2.1 I thought it looked beautiful, but ultimately Jon decided he wanted less "School Sports Team" colors. I still keep it around and wear it myself on occasion.

Yarn: Knitpicks Wool of the Andes ("Hyacinth" and "Wheat")

1/18/06 Bouclé Capelet Boucle Capelet 6 I gave this to my friend so that she could commit "vandalism" with it. It ended up around the neck of a statue!

Yarn: Joann Sensations Rainbow Boucle

12/26/05 Stuffed Rat IMG_1020 The cats like to kick this thing around.

Yarn: Some cheap acrylic from the Target $1 Spot

12/23/05 "Liesel" (pdf) Liesel - FO My first time knitting lace! This was a Christmas gift for my mom.

Yarn: TLC Cara Mia (discontinued)

10/30/05 Bouclé Wristies IMG_0794 I don't know... they're pretty ratty looking... but it was some good practice and they were nice until I made Fetching, which I like much better.

Yarn: Some cheap acrylic from the Target $1 Spot

10/23/05 Crush Socks IMG_0726 These were knit using Wendy's Generic Toe-Up Sock Pattern. I can't stand to wear these socks - nowadays I know better, and would never even think to make socks out of 100% acrylic! EEEK!

Yarn: Moda Dea Sassy Stripes ("Crush")

7/10/05 iPod Cozy IMG_0630 Before this project, I had only done garter-stitch scarves (not counting crochet stuff). I was determined to learn how to use DPNs and purl all at the same time. And to top it off, I learned how to Kitchener stitch, too!

Yarn: Glitterspun ("Silver")
